YOU DA MAN!!!! I just took a break to see your art and I have to say, they are so beautiful, they made me cry here in my office!

Those pictures totally captured the essence of the event and your fine eye for capturing "life" is amazing! I cannot tell you enough how totally bowled over I am with the photoshoot in the city a week ago and Jessie's wedding events. I know when she comes back from her honeymoon on Saturday, she will be astounded at your mastery of photography and seizing the prime moments forever in these photos. I would hate to have to pick a favorite...there are way too many.

Wish I had another daughter to marry off so we could use your services again. You better believe that my daughter will be one of your strongest references and supporters whenever a new client wants references...heck...I am too. They should just give us a call.

I don’t think words can adequately describe our appreciation of you two and your gifts. God has truly blessed you with a gifted eye of timing, precision, passion, romance, fun, and candor. When one of my family’s matriarchs came up and told me that she had been to many five star Hotels, but never to a ten- star wedding before and gave rave compliments on our photographers, I believe it is safe to say we had the BEST there is!!!

Each of you worked with such ease and there were so many times I was hardly aware we had someone outside our family working there. I don’t know how you take so many photos and are never in an awkward place at any time of all the events.  Your personalities are so pleasant, and you truly fit in with all the mix of people that were present. Everyone enjoyed meeting you both and having you there.  It is very evident that you two can blend with the elite or every day people. THANK you BOTH SO MUCH! Money can’t pay for the wonderful memories you’ve given Kari and Dustin and their families. If I were a billionaire or so, I certainly have to set your children’s trust fund up- they’re bound to be AWESOME!  I wish both you and your family a wonderful life in and outside of your work. It is so wonderful to have had you be a part of the most special day of our daughter’s life besides her birth.
 
Butch and I are so thankful your photography was busy making the most of this day for Kari and Dustin. Everyone I speak with is in awe of Kari and Dustin’s pictures on your gallery site. FABULOUS and AMAZING is all I can say. We both are so thankful God led Kari to the two of you. I don’t think Kari purchased a wedding album from you; but we may have to talk and rethink that. Let me know if we have a deadline. I know Hillary is already ordering her some pictures and she can’t wait to use you for whatever event she might be having. I’m sure she’ll spread the word. I knew the brides prior to the wedding, and I feel that he expertly captured their happiness and radiance on their wedding days. He was able to artistically capture the moments of a wedding day that some photographers might miss in trying to get the "right" photos. I hope that makes sense.
Everyone expects to see the group photos, and they are wonderful. But to be able to capture feelings as well as "stolen moments", I feel, is a great skill indeed.

I find both Rod and Tara very easy going and pleasant to work with. They are very professional, but you will find yourself very much at ease with both of them. There is definitely not a prima donna attitude in either of them; something I have seen in several photographers over the years. It has been my experience that the better photographers get their shots without getting in the way. Some photographers will take over your wedding. You would be amazed how many weddings and receptions have been held up because of photographers. I believe you will find that to not be the case with Tara and Rod.

I also believe you will be pleased with their level of professionalism and the high artistic quality of your pictures should you choose to have them photograph your special day.

As you can tell, I love weddings and never tire of talking about them!

Rod and Tara are fabulous. Our engagement and wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful. They supplied us with a list of poses to ensure that Rod did not miss any that we really wanted. They were very prompt and even went out of the way to get some rose petals for our honeymoon suite that had been forgotten. The Wedding Book is incredible. Rod did an impeccable job laying it out and the book is just beautiful. It is so much better than a photo album. Thank you so much for our wonderful wedding memories.

My fiancé and I are getting married in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, but we actually live in North Carolina.  This meant that much of the “shopping” we did for wedding photography was online.  I think we must have looked at fifty wedding photographer websites.  When I saw Rod’s website my attention was instantly captured.  There was something unique about the site itself, and we thought the photographs were just beautiful.  We felt like he was not just a good photographer, but an artist.    

When we met Rod and Tara we were invited as guests in their home/studio.  We spent time getting to know them as people, got to see Rod’s work, and the album choices.  We were very upfront with expressing that we didn’t want a photographer at our wedding who would tell us and our guests when to be happy, excited, etc.  He made us feel very confident that he wanted to shoot our wedding as it happens, not as he orchestrated, which so many photographers try to do. 

We recently had our engagement photos shot, and we are VERY happy with them.  The whole shoot lasted about 30 minutes and we were very happy with the results.  Rod did a great job of working with us and picking very beautiful locations around the Charleston Battery.  We didn't want to be posed; we just wanted to look like ourselves, and Rod definitely achieved that goal.  Also, Rod is also just a really funny guy and great to be with, so we laughed and just had a great time taking the photos.  My fiancé is not one who loves to take a lot of photographs and he left saying, "Wow that was fun!" 

We had our photos taken on Sunday, and he quickly posted them on a website for us the next day.  I sent the link on to family and friends and they were as ecstatic as we were.  Most wrote back within minutes telling me which ones were their favorites.  We can’t wait until our wedding and the beautiful photos we will have afterwards.

It was funny to learn that we were your first booking b/c we were so nervous about what to do regarding the different aspects of the wedding... photo, dj, etc. Since we are from out of state, we didn't have access to word of mouth recommendations that come from being locals.
