Walking on to the Edisto Island property of the Kapp family for this beautiful wedding was like something you have seen and might experience in a movie like Fried Green Tomatoes or Steel Magnolias. Isabel would be married to Josh at her family home, complete with huge oaks draped in spanish moss, long dirt road, waterfront with a view of the sunset....endless beauty! The moment we set foot in the house to start shooting prep, Mr. and Mrs. Kapp insisted we sit down and eat with the family and friends gathered. Incredibly generous and made us feel right at home! The whole day was just lovely...and we ran into some old friends, too! The awesome John and Sasha Pyatt, whose wedding we shot two years ago and saw at another wedding a year ago, are very good friends of Isabel and Josh, and were responsible for the nice referral! They made the trip from Germany to attend this wonderful celebration! A fantastic spread of food from one of our favorites, Lowcountry Eats, and an awesome live band kept the dance floor packed!
